Book excerpt: These stories were created during the pandemic when telling stories in person was not possible. The postal service delivered my stories daily to the grandchildren, which gave them something to look forward to while they were required to stay at home. These fictional tales generated phone calls and conversations with the kids about the various characters. Hopefully others will enjoy these stories and share their impressions with family and friends. Stimulating young readers is a great end result for any short story. Thank you!
