Book excerpt: Octavia Fang was born a weak child in a poor human home. She was born with a rare blood colour, which was blue. She was destined to die at the age of eighteen and so, her parents did everything within their power to prolong her life but to no avail. Her eighteenth birthday was fast approaching and Octavia got weaker by the day. She decided to visit her favourite spot which was a lake, in order to isolate herself from the world awaiting the day she would die. But a strange looking woman with white hair and scales surfaced from the lake and bowed to her in greetings. "It will soon be time to come home your Majesty". Octavia was horrified at this strange being calling her "Your Majesty"...
