Book excerpt: Yulee Triplett Schafer worked for 12 years as a Victim's Advocate in the Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney in Jefferson County Kentucky. Before that she worked at the YWCA Spouse Abuse Center as the Children's Recreation Specialist. These experiences opened her eyes to the true concept of loss and the grieving process. Ms. Schafer lives in Prospect, Kentucky with her family where she enjoys reading, cooking and crossword puzzles. It is her hope that those who read this book and have suffered a loss feel less alone and more at ease with the process of grief.
