Book excerpt: Four p. ms. - Neal's "p.s." is dated April 29, 1868. "There are two errors worth correcting in my account of the 'great conflagration.'" This may have been included in the contents of a cornerstone deposited May 6, 1868 beneath the eastern corner of the U.S. Court House and Post Office building (box now in museum collections: 1999.231).
