Book excerpt: This is a comprehensive yet short book in which all sixty-six books of the Bible are covered, reflecting meditatively on each book’s first verse. It is this writer’s hope that more and more Christians and spiritually-minded people who are open to the Bible will indeed read the whole Bible for themselves, without relying on paraphrases or summarized knowledge. I believe that a personal and cover-to-cover reading of God’s word will be an immense blessing to those who endeavor to accomplish it. Hopefully this short volume will be an encouragement to that end.
