Book Synopsis Foreign Investment in Yugoslavia by : Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development
Book excerpt: The first part of this report analyses the development and performance of the Yugoslav economy, the trend of foreign investment and the effect thereof on the Yugoslav economy. In the second part the 1978 Act on Foreign Investment is presented with the changes compared to the previous treatment. The third part examines the consequences of the 1978 Act, after having analysed the underlying reasons for the new line of thrust. The annex gives excerpts from the 1978 Act, together with excerpts from the Constitution of 1974 and the Act on foreign investment in the banking sector.
