Book excerpt: As an obese child, my weight restricted me from enjoying a normal childhood and exposed me to continuous bullying and labeling. I lived a lonely and tormented childhood, with only shame, food, and video games to keep me company. My fight to lose weight became an ongoing challenge and struggle, like millions who have fallen into the clutches of compulsive eating and obesity.In my adolescence, I went through a transformational journey that changed my life. I created a system that helped me to lose weight, I LOST 50 KGS and maintained it for four years. But with the first test of time, the system I worked hard for collapsed. When my business and life fell apart, and I gained back all the weight I lost in just TWO MONTHS, I realized losing weight is more than dieting and exercising.
