Book excerpt: These proceedings sample new results derived from extended-objected IR observations and explore the capabilities of large-aperture, low-scattered-light instrumentation. The latest results from IR solar observations are described and a broad range of night-time problems from gravitational lens detection to planetary detection are explored in the context of what capabilities a large reflecting coronagraphic telescope could offer.
