Book excerpt: Jericho James: Happy, Go Lucky is a book about a man leaving his hometown of Parkersburg, West Virginia, in to gold fields of California in the year 1876 in the backdrop of the Battle of Little Big Horn. The antics between him and his horse, Lucky, is quite humorous. He also befriends a sergeant major who belongs to a troop of cavalry who saves Jericho from an Indian attack.
