Book excerpt: Mama and daddy please don't fight is a story told by little Skeeter. This story is an echo of the author's life growing up in a violent home. Skeeter's home life, his life view, and self- esteem are connected to what is going on in his home. His parents are lost for how to develop a loving family. They are constantly fighting, though he believes his parents love each other, they don't know how to make the right connections until they come to know Jesus, to learn the important questions of life which are, who am I? what am I about? and what is my purpose in life? Jesus changes the life of the whole family by giving them purpose. This is what the author has experienced in his own life.
