Book excerpt: Managing Excellence in School Education: A Handbook for Educators is a reference manual for Principals and Teachers aspiring to transform their schools holistically. It provides a systematic approach for creating excellent institutions. The book outlines concepts and processes developed by the Tata Education Excellence Program (TEEP) in collaboration with Tata Steel, in order to improve the quality of education in schools. Since 2003, this program has been successfully implemented in over sixty private and rural schools in and around Jamshedpur. All Schools can learn from their success stories. The concepts explained in this book will also be helpful in implementing the National Education Policy 2020.
