Book excerpt: Excerpt from Mental Hygiene, 1919, Vol. 3 In earlier operations certain administrative difficulties made it possible to deal with war neuroses in divisional hospitals only in occasional instances, but the results obtained in those divisions in which it proved feasible to station the neuropsychiatrist during combat in the triage or most advanced field hospital proved so brilliant that the plan was extended throughout the First Field Army.
