Ourselves: A Picture Drawn from the History of the Children of Israel is distilled from eighteen messages relating to the Exodus from Egypt, beginning with the nature of the people’s bondage as an illustration of our bondage to sin, and moving through key events and relating them to aspects of Christian conversion and the experience of new believers. Though a little dated in style, this little book shows how types can be used effectively by focusing on the chief parallels rather than getting bogged down in unnecessary detail.
