Book excerpt: S.B. Pearce's The Monday Morbs is a weekly horror poetry experience that launched in January 2022. Each poem is carefully crafted within the wide-reaching genre of horror, exploring a variety of topics that are common within the human experience. The project began as a weekly exercise with each piece set to visual imagery and released across multiple social media platforms. The audio version exists in podcast format across multiple podcast services. The goal was to create a rich body of terrifying work that could be shared in as many formats as possible for horror lovers everywhere. Volume I is a compilation of topics from fears surrounding death and dying to urban legends and folklore.
