Includes graduation program from the Eleventh Officer Candidate Class of the Womenâ€TMs Army Auxiliary Corps, Fort Des Moines, Iowa, 9 January 1943; letter from her father to his wife, describing Chaveâ€TMs graduation ceremony and fellow officers.;Correspondence from the service of Captain Mary Adele Chave Manley, who was a member of the Women's Army Corps (WAC) and served in the Pacific Theater of Operations. Letters are lively and discuss in depth life in the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps.
