The first official set of deliveries of these vehicles started in September 2015. The series production vehicle was unveiled to the public in September 2015. It has unique features such as a panoramic windshield and has been rated as one of the safest SUV in regards of its frontal and side impact crash tests. Tesla has been a company that focuses on energy and efficiency. They also produce lithium ion batteries which is what their electric cars operate from. They aim over time to sell more vehicles, remain profitable and drive down the overall costs of the electric vehicles in the future.
