Book excerpt: This Is Me Growing Up in My Country, Montserrat, West Indies came to be because of the life that I used to live at home. I always wanted to write a book about my life back home. Also, whenever I told people about my life, they all would tell me to write a book. Then the urge for writing this book and other books to come grew stronger and stronger.
