Book Synopsis A Compilation of Data on the Zorn Family in America by : Edward Bryant Bates

Book excerpt: The Zorn/Zornes family originated in Germany. The first Zorn to come to America appears to have been Jacob Zern or Zorn who arrived in Philadelphia in 1738. Other Zorns arriving in America about the same time were two brothers, Martin and Andrew Zern, relatives of Jacob. Descendants moved into Virginia, Ohio and Indiana where they helped settle those states.
