Book Synopsis A Mythical Irish Tale by : Declan Michael

Book excerpt: A historical, fast-paced journey that has it all. Through Love, fear, anger, war and betrayal. Three boys must handle being away from their families as they deal with new commitments and threats while trying to escape Ancient Ireland. Present-day Garon, Dillon and PJ travel to their uncle’s wedding and, during a break, find an ancient fountain where they spot a gold coin. While reaching to retrieve the coin, they are sucked back in time to 284AD. There they meet a young Fionn Mac Cumhaill, an ancient Irish hero. Together they must gain entry to the Fianna! (A legendary Irish band of warriors), helping Fionn to fulfil his destiny. They discover the Salmon of knowledge, and while joining forces with the Tuatha Dé Danann, they must battle the Fomorians and Balor of the evil eye. All while trying to overcome many obstacles and ancient Irish Mythical creatures too. On their journey, they encounter Fairies, Leprechauns, and Banshees, amongst many other ancient Irish creatures. In between all of this, they must search for a reason for how they got there while trying to find a way back home to their loved ones! It is a must-read for anyone interested in ancient Irish mythology, magic, heroism, myth and danger.
