Book excerpt: This is a true story. I didn't know when I brought home an old sleigh from my family's original homestead that I was also bringing home a guest: the sleigh's original owner, my great great grandfather. And I certainly didn't know he'd have a story he wanted me to tell. But that's exactly what happened.
