Book excerpt: Master's Thesis from the year 2015 in the subject Politics - Other International Politics Topics, grade: C, Robert Gordon University Aberdeen (Aberdeen Business School), course: International Business, language: English, abstract: This paper aims to critically investigate the sustainability and accountability of the different policies formulated by the government and their effectiveness when implemented in the education sector, mainly in the rural sector of Bangladesh. The national policies formulated by the government have been designed with a vision of achieving a target of digitization of the whole education sector by 2021. In the course of the research, a few objectives have been identified which will be critically analyzed to understand the constraints that exist and identify the gaps in the existing policies; this thesis also provides an analysis of the role of NGO’s in the development of teachers who are the main media for delivering education.
