Book excerpt: This book is a compilation of ten technical archival publications describing the analysis of various icosahedrons, primarily of a nonlinear nature. Static and dynamic characteristics are considered, and other covered topics range from large displacements and rotations to the consideration of chaotic behaviour. There is a great deal of experimentation included in several papers, from a quasi-static point of view as well as that of dynamics.
