Book excerpt: Twenty-eight pages of pure nuttiness in every book! Did you know that birds and hippos have a special relationship? It's true. In fact, some birds actually make their nests in the hippo's ears. (Which is fine, I suppose, until the hippo goes for a swim!) Anyway, this little book is an introduction to two colorful new characters, Tiny, the hippo, and Little Wing, the bird who happens to live in his ear. This series of books is designed to be read aloud by you and/or your children, preferably using silly voices. Each book will introduce a new (big!) word in an entertaining way.
