Book excerpt: This book provides a novel introduction to the Standard Model of electroweak unification. It presents, in pedagogical form, a detailed derivation of the Standard Model from the high energy behavior of tree-level Feynman graphs. In this respect, the present text is unique among the existing monographs and textbooks on this subject, and fills a gap in the current literature on electroweak interactions.
