Book Synopsis Multinational Strategic Foresight of Environmental Trends in the Automobile Industry Using Internal Resources by : Natalie Wippel

Book excerpt: With a focus on the automobile industry, this study provides an overview of the basics of strategic foresight and the differences that multinational enterprises (MNEs) have to deal with while working in an international context. The book also looks at the interrelation of strategic foresight and environmental trends. The results of the study indicate that it is advantageous for MNEs to use their internal resources worldwide for strategic foresight during the first three phases of the strategic foresight process (SFP), while also being aware of the possible barriers. (Series: Writings on the Automotive Industry / Schriften zur Automobilwirtschaft - Vol. 9) [Subject: Business, Automotive Industry]
