Book excerpt: Tomi was a naughty and troublesome boy. He was a nuisance to the whole class. His mother, grandma and class teacher did everything to help Tomi change his bad behaviour, but nothing seemed to work. Finally, on his eighth birthday, his grandmother gave him a piggy bank as his birthday present. She hoped that by the time he fills it up with rewards earned from good behaviour, he would have become a changed boy. In the end, Tomi became a good boy. He learnt how to save and paid a visit to the bank for the very first time, where he opened his first kids’ savings bank account. He also learnt that; 'The true cost of love is 'No charge' and ‘No one should pay to be loved and to love or to be treated kindly.
