Book Synopsis Nürnberg's Panzer Factory by : Roddy MacDougall

Book excerpt: This book is an illustrated study of the vehicles designed, developed and produced at the M.A.N. plant in Nürnberg during the period 1934-1945. It is most renowned as the birthplace of Germany's Panther tank. Here are crystal clear photos of showing Panther interiors, prototype testing, proving ground trials, assembly lines and damage inflicted by Allied bombers later in the war. The repair, refurbishment and conversion of other armored vehicles is also examined, with much new information being presented here for the first time. Of the 222 photos, most are unpublished. Hard cove, landscape format, with many photos presented full page.
