The interview was conducted by Mary Donin on October 4, 2008. The entire interview runs for approximately 70 minutes and covers the period of time she worked at Dartmouth for President James Freedman, starting as an assistant provost, and promoted to associate provost in 1996 under Provosts John Strohbehn and Lee Bollinger. She left Dartmouth in 2001.
