Book excerpt: This book addresses an overall approach presenting comprehensive principles and description of the analysis and design of prestressed concrete members, from its initial design concepts, analysis, to the construction stage. The structural components are analyzed and designed to conform to the requirements of Eurocodes, [that are similar to Indian Standard Codes] followed throughout the world.
