Book excerpt: This document has been prepared for the U.S. Army to support the Final Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement for the Chemical Stockpile Disposal Program (CSDP). This report presents the results of the integrated risk analysis of the CSDP - a continuation of the 'risk analyses' prepared by GA technologies Inc. for this same program. This report describes the risk analysis methodology, and presents the results of the risk analysis in a variety of ways, including: cumulative risk curves; expected fatalities values; individual risk data; estimates of time and person-years at risk; and, semi-quantitative 'picto- graphical' comparisons of the major measures of both societal and individual risk. Differences in risk of the disposal alternatives are presented and discussed in light of the uncertainty in the analysis. Keywords: Public safety, Toxic hazards.
