Book excerpt: There is in our schools a chronic problem: the lack of discipline. Often students do not feel well within the classrooms. That they do not have the proper behavior at these places. That they are turbulent or uneasy, they do not let the quiet environment necessary for learning from colleagues. There is a cause that can justify the bad atmosphere within the classroom. They are not, nor can be, an oasis in the middle of the wider environment that surrounds them: the schoolyard, the families, the town, the country, the world.
