Book excerpt: The author spoke with fifty sex workers, most of whom were Australian, but also a couple from overseas--all different types from all different backgrounds and for all different reasons, such as love of sex, dislike of sex, mortgage payments, love for men/women, hatred for men/women, feeling of empowerment, money that can be earned, and lots more reasons. Through fifty stories we get a rare, intriguing, and surprising glimpse into the lives of sex workers. None of us is perfect so, without judgment, take a look into the lives of fifty people who have come forward and said, "Yes, I'm involved in the sex industry."
