Book excerpt: Silicon in Organic Synthesis provides an introduction to the organic chemistry of silicon. Subsequent chapters cover the synthesis of compounds such as alkene, alkynylsilanes, allenylsilanes, silylketenes, alkyl silyl ethers, acyloxysilanes, and silyl enol ethers.
