Book excerpt: This book is an attempt to capture a representation of the work being done by Asian and non-Asian social psychologists exploring the Asian social experience as it relates to three important and interrelated social psychological constructs: the self, interpersonal relationships, and subjective wellbeing. These three broad constructs are addressed and cast in varied ways in the chapters in this volume.
