Book excerpt: Abby and Molly take on more adventures when they go on a family Christmas vacation together on Lake Annabella with their mom & dad & meeting the Peretti family there at the cabins. One escapade after another takes place that keeps everyone on their toes but no one was prepared for the ice storm that was supposed to miss the cabins. Abby isn't near as concerned about the ice storm as she is about the escaped prisoner that broke out on Christmas Eve. Abby is also fearful that the prisoner may be after the Peretti's judging from the prisoner's background. The mystery of it all comes to an emotional end at the Live, Laugh, Eat cafe, an ending no one saw coming.
