Book excerpt: What if you met your perfect partner in a dream, and when you agreed to meet in reality, found yourselves immersed in the dramas of a bygone era? William and Rachel, two young people, met in a dream in another time and place. They come from very different social backgrounds with different beliefs and expectations, and together they must confront their challenges and lessons as they try to survive a disastrous flood in the early colony of New South Wales in 1806.
