Book Synopsis White Crow's Louisiana Hoodoo by : Jennifer Lefering

Book excerpt: White Crow's Louisiana Hoodoo - Spells, Potions & Brews is my personal collection of craft recipes and traditions. I am born and raised in Louisiana, and as such, I have first hand knowledge of that special way we do things in the swamps and bayous. Many of these recipes and spells are of my own devising, developed from my knowledge that was passed on to me by various people I have met over the years, as well as from many years of research. Somethings are common knowledge practices from Southern Louisiana, others are my own twist on these age old ways. Not only does this book cover spells, brew, and potions, it also includes information on ingredients used in our practice, and how to craft many of the oils, incense, and other items found in Louisiana Hoodoo traditions. This book covers practices that can be incorporated into any religious path, be it Pagan or Christian. It is also not a light and fluffy tome. It covers some of the darker topics and aspects of Louisiana Hoodoo practices.
